Instructor Profiles

Dr. Himanshu Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Prior to joining IIT Guwahati, Dr. Gupta was associated with T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) Bengaluru, where he served as an Assistant Professor and Area Chairperson for Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. He has published several research papers in international journals and has presented his work at numerous international conferences. His academic interests include Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, precarious and gig employment, health, well-being and spirituality, labour migration, and generational differences in the workplace.

Dr. Abraham Cyril Issac is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He is a joint Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. He is a Mechanical engineer from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and has completed postgraduate degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, and Business Law from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, University of Madras, and NLSIU Bangalore respectively. He is also a trained thermal powerplant engineer and now specializes in Organizational Behavior with a special focus on a relatively new construct of Knowledge hiding and is one of the most productive researchers in the area. His academic interests include Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management and Strategy. He has published and presented extensively in various reputed international journals and conferences. Moreover, he is a well-known OB and Industrial Psychology consultant, and engages actively in consultancy, training and coaching programmes.

Course Description

This program aims to equip executives to move beyond intuition and lead with powerful, data-driven HR strategies. Through hands-on exposure to descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, participants learn to convert workforce data into actionable business insights. The course sharpens talent decisions, strengthens workforce planning, and links HR metrics directly to organisational performance. With practical tools like Power BI and Tableau, leaders can align people strategy with business outcomes. In an AI-driven era, this program empowers executives to not just manage talent—but to strategically future-proof it.
